A Systematic Study Of Chinese Explicit Speech Act Words

The research for “ How to do things with words”has always been a very crucial topic when researchers studied pragmatics.And lots of related results have been obtained during that time.However researchers pay a few attentions on speech act verbs,especially for Chinese explicit speech act verbs,let alone making a systemantic conduction for Chinese explicit speech act verbs.Firstly,this thesis is based on semantics,pragmatics,Speech act Theory and takes speech act verbs from<??????>(Sixth Edition)which is published by Commercial Press as it's research resource.Through which,Chinese speech acts verbs were chose and classified into five types.More over,this thesis also try to classified the verbs of five types into different subgroupings according to their meaning and Pragmatics usage of each verbs.From the dictionary,there are 244 Chinese explicit speech act verbs were found.And they can be classfied into five types.However,because of the unique feature of Chinese verbs,it is found out that there are lots of verbs can be classified into more than one type,such as“?????”,etc.These thesis will analyze every words from different types.Last,all the Chinese speech acts verbs will be put into a systmen in order,through which we hope it can replenish the Speech Acts Theory raised by Searle and also can be a coupus of Chinese Pragmatics,more over,we hope this system can be a advice for Chinese Teaching and Teaching Chinese As a Second Language Teaching.
