Confucius was born in Lu Guo,the fiefdom of Zhou Gong, the creator of Zhou Li.With the development of history, the "path of loyalty and forgiveness" proposed by Confucius has been passed down to the present day.It is not only an important idea in Confucius' "benevolence" study, but also an important part of the traditional morality of the Chinese nation. As an important criterion for regulating the relationship between people, the idea of "loyalty and forgiveness" is a state of pushing oneself to one's own heart and comparing one's heart to one's heart. It is a method and basis for people's self-cultivation and improvement. This article takes the Analects of Confucius as a starting point, and combines the records of Confucius' words and deeds in other classics to systematically and comprehensively explain Confucius' s thoughts of loyalty and forgiveness. The full text consists of four parts:The first part explains the origin of Confucius' "loyalty" thought.Confucius' "loyalty" thought originated during the Spring and Autumn Period and the Warring States Period, due to the social chaos at that time, the disintegration of rituals, the disobedience of behavior, and the irregular behavior. The relationship between people is extremely deteriorating, and even the bad phenomenon of killing the father and the ministers by the son appears. The vassals were hunted everywhere for the land, and the people were in hot water for a long time.At the same time, due to the Zhou royal family's loss of the power of "Ri Yue conquest from the Son of Heaven," the royal family declined, and "Zhou Li" suffered unprecedented damage. This provided a important opportunity for the generation of Confucius' "loyalty" thought. The second part focuses on "loyalty" and "forgiveness" from the perspective of Confucius.Doing one's best is "faithfulness",emphasizing doing one's best, not selfishly,is one's best. The analysis is mainly based on the "loyalty" of the relationship between monarchs and ministers, and the "loyalty" of friends.Taking the self-denial of people as "forgiveness","The Analects of Confucius Wei Linggong" : Zi Gong asked: "Is there a word that can last a lifetime? " Zi said: " It's forgiving! Don't do it to others if you don't want it." Requires people to compare their hearts and push themselves to others when they are living.Don't impose on others what you don't want, and look atproblems from the perspective of others. The scholars of all ages have not reached a conclusion on the category of "loyalty and forgiveness".As Zengzi said,"The way of a master is only faithful and forgiving."The third part discusses loyalty and forgiveness.Starting from the basic interpretation of "benevolent",the category of "benevolent" in Confucius' ideological system is explained, and explore the relationship between loyalty and "being kind".The "benevolent" focuses on loving others. The externalization of "benevolent" is self-denial and revenge. The way of "loyalty" is to realize "benevolent".It is Confucius' s "permanent" benevolence that the important way and method of pushing the moral realm of oneself and others is achieved. The last part discusses the concrete practice of the idea of loyalty. It is mainly described from three aspects. One is to compare the heart with the heart, that is,to have a tolerant mentality that promotes others and to treat others with one's own equality. The other is that adults become self, and they must have self-discipline and self-discipline.The third aspect of the mind is independence and goodness. We must have a sense of responsibility to fulfill one's heart and sense of responsibility.Today,Confuciu's thought of "loyalty and forgiveness" is still of great significance.Whether it is in personal cultivation or in the world peace and other aspects, there is something worth learning.
