Research On Art Design Of Guoliang Ma

Guoliang Ma,the fourth editor-in-chief of Liang You pictorial in the Republic of China,has made great achievements in illustration,cartoon,art character design,cover design and other aspects apart from editing newspapers and periodicals.However,at present,neither the publication research of Liang You nor other research in the Republic of China have paid attention to Mr.Ma's artistic design case.Therefore,the paper takes Mr.Ma's art and design as the starting point,and discusses the style characteristics,artistic changes and cultural connotation of his art and design in combination with the historical background of the New Culture Movement the Republic of China.Therefore,the paper mainly studies and discusses systematically from the following five chapters.The first chapter is the introduction,which mainly elaborates the main research purpose and significance of the paper.And from all the collected research results and current research situation,to introduce the research content and research methods,as well as the key points,difficulties and innovations of the topic.The second chapter sorts out firstly the background and life of Mr.Ma's artistic design,then combines the development of Liang You Company with Mr.Ma's extensive artistic development,combing his creations,such as literary,film screenwriter and photographic works when he finished editing.The third chapter aims at a comprehensive analysis of Mr.Ma's artistic painting works.The first part is an analysis of his illustration works,classifying the works into illustrations with Aubrey Beardsley style and traditional line drawing style.The second part is the analysis of his cartoon works.The cartoon works are divided into portrait,social life and political current affairs.And on this basis,the paper makes a deep excavation of the composition form and the central idea expressed in these two-parts of painting works.The fourth chapter is the analysis of Mr.Ma's design works.The first part analyzes his design style of calligraphy from three aspects,including modern style calligraphy,decorative calligraphy and handwritten calligraphy.The second part analyzes his cover design and layout design,mainly discussing the deep connotation of his cover image and layout design.The fifth chapter,based on Mr.Ma's art and design case,and discusses the rich cultural accomplishment and multi-field pursuit of intellectuals in the Republic of China,and its enlightenment and reflection on contemporary art and design workers who are engaged in art and in design.
