| With the transformation of mobile network,mobile communication technology enables people to use Weibo,WeChat and other social software more conveniently.At the same time,the emergence of apps with various functions makes mobile phones indispensable tools for life,work and study.Although mobile phones provide convenience for people’s daily life,it leads to a series of problems such as poor eyesight,dry eyes and irritability.Madrid(2011)believes that over‐reliance on mobile phones is one of the leading "non‐drug addictions".Secondary vocational students do not have good self‐control and self‐management ability,and are prone to overuse of mobile phones.Excessive use of mobile phones will lead to problems such as poor eyesight,emotional instability,poor academic performance and parent‐child conflict.The bad information in the phone is also very easy to mislead their thoughts and prevent them from forming correct values.Some violent and bloody images on the Internet tend to breed violent tendencies,produce attacks,and even lead to criminal behaviors.Therefore,guiding secondary vocational students to use mobile phones correctly and healthily has become a hot topic in the fields of psychology and education.This study intended to explore the influences of resilience and self‐control on mobile phone dependency of secondary vocational students from the perspective of self‐control.350 secondary vocational school students from Changchun,Jilin were surveyed using “the mobile phone dependency scale”,"the mental resilience scale" and "self‐control scale".Data were collected and the relationships among the three variables were analyzed.Findings indicated that,(1)The level of mobile phone dependency of secondary vocational students was above the medium level.There were significant gender and grade differences.The level of female mobile phone dependency was higher than male students.(2)There was a significant negative correlation between mental resilience and mobile phone dependency.(3)There was a significant negative correlation between mobile phone dependency and self‐control.(4)Self‐control played completely mediated the relationship between mental resilience and mobile phone dependency. |
