Known as the "animation power",Japan has established a huge animation market in Japan for decades,which is famous in the world.But in fact,the animation industry in Japan is oppressed.In particular,the industry base of the contract company's fatigue is extremely obvious.Although the total sales of animation in 2015 and 2016 recorded the highest amount in history,which is considered to be the arrival of the fourth animation boom,if the tired state of the industrial base is fixed,the animation talents and technology in Japan may gradually decline in the future.The broad animation market is expected to reach 2 trillion yen in 2016.However,the overseas scale of animation "strong at home and weak and well-known abroad" reached 1 trillion yen in 2018.In this way,compared with the growth of the domestic market,the overseas market seems to have expanded.However,it is obvious that the rapid development of overseas expansion has made a great contribution to the goal of 2 trillion yen in the broad animation market.The overall growth of animation market in the broad sense basically keeps pace with the growth of overseas market.From 2002 to 2018,the overall scale of animation market in broad sense doubled,while the scale of overseas expansion nearly tripled in the same period.This is the result of the slow progress of the changes in the domestic market structure,the rise of overseas markets in emerging countries such as China and the changes in the media environment in a short period of time.In the overseas market,because it is not the animation industry that leads to the structural change itself,we have to strengthen the restrictions of the Chinese market to substantially exclude the market and other "external environment" effects.For this reason,as the external environment of Netflix and other network platforms and Disney and other huge media,China's emerging players will have greater power in the future.Now,the relationship with the global network platform has realized the production of exclusive works with surplus budget.However,the scope of business there is limited and only the European and American image is developed as the central business.In the future,the global platform and huge media,China and other active broadcast mechanisms to the world will lead to the fact that Japan will only accept overseas production Commission.That is to say,the "double hollowing out" of manufacturing = freedom of career,manufacturing = freedom of creation,and the relative reduction of the domestic market may occur at the same time.The animation industry has been paid more attention than the content industry through the policy committee with multiple income opportunities and flexible response to the advantages of excellent business model generated by changes in the domestic market.Today,almost half of Japan's animation industry is overseas,and it continues to expand its overseas market,finally reaching 1 trillion yen.Compared with 10 years ago,the current ratio is 226.9%.In 2000,it ushered in a high tide,and then it was greatly reduced.However,it began to rise sharply from 2015,becoming an important part of the Japanese animation industry.In this context,this paper studies the development of foreign trade in Japanese animation industry from the perspective of producers.
