Charles-marie Widor was a French composer and organist in the romantic period of the 19 th century.During this period,European music styles were diversified,including folk music,impressionism,neoclassical music and so on.Widor’s works absorb the romantic music style and the characteristics of the organ music,so that the music presents the organ music style and romantic tension.This suite op.34 is the composer’s only flute work entitled to Taffanel.This paper consists of three parts.The first part will introduce the composer’s life and creative background.The second part will analyze the playing techniques and musical connotations in each movement of the music,and provide solutions to the problems that may occur in the practice of the players based on their own playing experience.The last part is the conclusion,which will summarize this paper. |
