In recent years,With the increasing demands of learning Chinese around the world,The significance of teaching Chinese as a foreign la nguage in Indonesia is becoming more important.Therefore,more people are compiling Chinese textbook for each level,Indonesian Chinese textbooks are also seemed to be more diverse.But Chinese textbooks that are applicable for Indonesian Learners is stil l the problem that Indonesian Chinese teachers have not yet solved.In order to compile the most suitable textbook for Indonesian learners,this study intends to compare between Chinese textbook and Chinese.By means of data statistics,comparative analysis,questionnaire survey and interview survey,this paper makes a comparative analysis of the conte nts of the two textbooks and by putting forward some suggestions for revision.This paper discusses and analyses of the compiling principles of these two Chinese textbooks,and makes a comparative evaluation of the overall structure,single-course structure and layout design of the two sets of Chinese textbooks.On the basis of comparative evaluation of the compiling principles and styles of these two sets of Chinese textbooks,this paper makes a comparative study of vocabulary,text,grammar,exercise design and cultural settings in the two sets of textbooks.Vocabulary arrangement includes vocabulary control,vocabulary level,vocabulary interpretation and comparative evaluation of vocabulary arrangement in two sets of textbooks.Text arrangement includes topic classification of two sets of textbooks,difficulty control of texts and comparative evaluation of textbook arrangement.Grammar arrangement includes grammar presentation form,grammar quantity and grade distribution and comparative evaluation of gra mmar arrangement of the two sets of textbooks.Exercise design includes two sets of textbooks,the amount of exercise questions,the classification of exercise questions and the comparative evaluation of exercise design.Cultural settings include special c ultural projects and comparative evaluation of cultural settings in two textbooks.The last,suggestions for revision of these two sets Chinese textbooks are based on summary of inadequacies that the textbook brought to its contents,According to the requirements of Indonesian syllabus and a questionnaire survey was conducted on the use of Chinese Textbooks and Chinese by students and teachers.It is hoped that this study will make some contributions to the provision of forthcoming Indonesia’s teaching Chinese materials,and can be used as a reference for Chinese textbook.
