Nowadays,The Yong-He-Gong Temple in the Qing Dynasty was the largest Tibetan Buddhist temple in Beijing area.The Yong-He-Gong Temple was restructured in the ninth year of the Reign of Emperor Qian-Long,which promoted the exchange of religion,culture,art,medicine,calendar,and other aspects among the nationalities of the Manchu,Mongols,Tibet and Han,and made a positive contribute to the development of the Chinese traditional culture.The Yong-He-Gong Temple also played an important role in consolidating national unity,strengthening border defense construction,and ensuring social stability in the Qing Dynasty.At the same time,it has also become a link between the central government and the Mongols and Tibet areas.It can be seen from the previous studies that most of the research is on the education of Lama,Buddhist development and Architectural art style of the Yong-He-Gong Temple.However,there is no monograph or research on the temple rebuild and repair of The Yong-He-Gong Temple.Therefore,on the basis of archives and history records,this study for the first time takes the rebuilding and repairing of the Yong-He-Gong Temple in the Qian-Long Dynasty as the topic.This study mainly based on “the Archives Historical Materials of the Yong-He-Gong Temple in the Qing Dynasty” and other materials,systematically states the repair history,process,function and influence of changing the Palace into a Tibetan Buddhist temple during the Qian-Long Dynasty.The introduction section briefly introduces the significance of the topic,the research situation and innovations.The first chapter describes the historical changes of the Yong-He-Gong Temple before1744 will be explained;The second chapter sorted out the specific construction details of the temple change and several repairs based on the use of several archives and historical materials,including the repair time,project content,silver sources and distribution;The third chapter explores the in-depth reasons of the repair of the Yong-He-Gong Temple in the Qing Dynasty,and analyzes the historical role and influence of the Yong-He-Gong Temple.Finally,the main contents of this study are summarized in the conclusion section,and the appendix contains archives,historical materials and references.
