In 1985,Famous musicologists Morjihu and Daorjiala et al.discovered Haolin Chaor(Khooomei)in Xinjiang,China.In 1993,the famous Mongolian Khooomei artist,Aodusurong,came to China to set up the Khoomei training course for the first Khoomei singers in Inner Mongolia.China Mongolian Khoomei has been listed on the world intangible cultural heritage list Declared by The Chinese Government.Within about thirty years,Khoomei has rised,developed and flourished in Inner Mongolia,Which is a rare cultural phenomenon that cultural products produced under the modern context but looked back toward the traditional origin.This paper will use methods of oral narratives,analysis and interpretation to explore the rising and developing processof Chinese Mongolian Khoomei,and how the people utilized imaginary power to rewrite the history memories through synchronic sharing to make up the diachronic absence,and finally constructed a “Sound Community” centered by China,Mongolia,and Tuva as well as radiating to the world.And how university,society and country take part in the process,so that the writer will further explain how the process appeared and represent multi-level identity,why the Khoomei has been the chosen cultural construction symbol and how it has finished self-construction,etc.
