Research On Color Information Graphicalization For Color-blind People

The large number of color-blind people is an important part of social groups.However,due to the defect of Color Identification,color blind people can not get color information correctly,which brings them much inconvenience in their daily life.As color is an important means of communication today,the current situation of color-blind people is becoming more and more intense,and their cognitive needs for color are gradually being paid attention to by the general public,the breadth and depth of research is constantly expanding.In the field of design,the research on color-blind people mainly focuses on the design of color-blind glasses,traffic lights and color system for color-blind people.In the design research of color-blind people,the color information graphic research for color-blind people is to establish the corresponding relationship between color information and graphic symbols on the premise of respecting the visual characteristics and psychological needs of color-blind people,to help color-blind people identify colors by graphic symbols.At present,the related research is less,mainly on the study of simple geometric symbols,that is,simple geometric symbols corresponding to color information.This type of research uses color The Principles of Psychology to determine the correspondence between graphic symbols and color information.However,due to the high similarity between the graphic symbols,can not make people associate memory,identification is more difficult,can not be unified and widely recognized and spread.According to the above questions,this topic through the literature research method,the case analysis method,grasps the color blind crowd's vision characteristic and the psychological demand,and carries on the thorough analysis,the contrast to the present about the color blind crowd's design research,the advantages and practical significance of color information graphic research are summarized.This paper discusses the design principles and forms of color information graphic from the perspective of color psychology and semiotics.Then the theory of Color Information Graphics into the design practice,to explore a new form of color information graphics and application program.Finally,the meaning and future development direction of color information graphic research and design are tested by questionnaire survey.Through the analysis and research on this subject,the author hopes to help the color blind people to identify colors better by means of graphic symbols,and to bring new ideas and inspiration to the research and design of Color Blind people.
