Memory,it represents the superposition of the psychological impression of the past living environment,life experience and physical experience.Memory can actively filter out complex plots and construct and retouch the pictures in the mind according to each person's different psychological factors.The selectivity and ambiguity of memory make people find that the way the brain stores pictures conflicts with the precise images taken by the photographic lens.The capture and depiction of memory have become the expression of the artists.Compared to the fast imaging characteristics of photography,the slow production process of painting highlights the advantages in memory description.Memory itself is also a way of accumulating body experience and visual images,which will intuitively affect the process of painting production.Therefore,the reproduction of images in the painting is more likely to be the reproduction of emotions and memories.The expression of memory in painting is,in the final analysis,the artist's manipulation and editing of the personal experience and the images in memory,as well as a reproduction of the artist's specific work mode.This article divides the expression of memory in painting into two aspects to describe: the reproduction of memory and the reconstruction of memory,and uses this as a clue to study how memory affects the artist's creative process.Based on the context of contemporary painting art and the modern evolution of aesthetic theory,the term "memory" is used as a theme clue to comb the expressions and creative elements of contemporary paintings and combine its own painting experience to explore the formal metaphor and cognitive perspective.
