Webern’s Late Thought Inquiry | | Posted on:2021-02-09 | Degree:Master | Type:Thesis | | Country:China | Candidate:N Li | Full Text:PDF | | GTID:2415330620970521 | Subject:Music and Dance | | Abstract/Summary: | PDF Full Text Request | | In Webern’s late works,vocal music works are undoubtedly the key genre.However,most of the existing domestic research focuses on the analysis of the music material of the works,and the analysis of the lyrics or the exploration of the relationship between the lyrics and the music is a morning star.By selecting one of Webern’s late vocal works Op.25“Three Songs”this paper hopes to understand Webern’s creative techniques of associating lyrics with music through the study of this work,and to further understand how Webb’s thoughts and feelings attempt to express in this work.By studying the meaning,rhythm,sequence and structure of lyrics of Op.25“Three Songs”this paper explores the relationship between lyrics and music material.It includes introduction,four main chapters and conclusions.Chapter one mainly narrates the reason of the topic,the significance of the topic and the summary of research at home and abroad;the second chapter briefly narrates the background of Webern’s creation;the third chapter introduces Webern’s main idea,which focuses on the “human intelligence”viewpoint,which has the most important influence on Webern’s music;the fourth chapter analyzes the lyrics of the Op.25“Three Songs”the relationship beteewn rhythm and rhythm,sequence,accom-paniment,drawing method of words to demonstrate how Webern’s thoughts and feelings through music;The fifth chapter summarizes the research of the above chapters: first summarizes the embodiment of Webern’s ideas in the structure of songs,second summarizes the embodiment of Webern’s ideas in the music material,and then draws the final conclusion that Webb can the spiritual demands he wants to express through music creation.By echoing the structure of the lyrics in Op.25“Three Songs”Webern made the whole song show logic and integrity.In many aspects of song creation,different techniques are used to associate poetry with music material,so that his works become the carrier of expressing self-emotion and thought in the self-discipline twelve-tone writing technique. | | Keywords/Search Tags: | Anton Webern, Hildegard Jone, Op.25 "Three Songs", Anthroposophie | PDF Full Text Request | Related items |
