Research On Spatial Narration Of Lin Bai’s Novels

The element of “space” occupies an important position in Lin Bai ’s novels.This thesis takes the space narrative of Lin Bai ’s novels as the research object,starting from the specific text of Lin Bai ’s novels,combs the story space and narrative space in Lin Bai ’s novels,and explores The relationship between time and space in Lin Bai’s novels,the unique meaning of the narrative perspective,and finally summarizes the value and significance of space narrative in Lin Bai’s novels.On the basis of drawing on the research achievements of previous people,reading the writer’s work carefully,using narratology,space theory,etc.,and summarizing the uniqueness of the space narrative of Lin Bai ’s novels from other writers The objective is to objectively evaluate the value of Lin Bai ’s novel narrative space and provide some useful references for the research of Lin Bai ’s novel.The thesis analyzes three typical spatial forms in the story space of Lin Bai’s novels: mirror image,body and room.There are also three unique narrative structures in the narrative space: Chinese nested box,orange petal and line structures.Focusing on the story space and the narrative space,in the process of novel creation,Lin Bai took a different approach to traditional writing when creating three types of space by virtue of his unique perception of space.He opened a new path and used time to highlight the sense of space in the novel.Time and space are inseparable in the art of fiction.They are contradictory to each other and at the same time promote each other.Lin Bai uses the connection between time and space to cut off the narrative lines of the novel and dilute the plot.The reader’s perception of the time of the novel highlights the novel’s sense of space to another extent and facilitates space narrative.The diversification of the narrative structure brings opportunities and challenges to the choice and switching of the narrative perspective of the novel.As a representative of feminist writers,Lin Bai focuses on the authentic female experience from the perspective of specific characters,and always insists on the self-explanation of women.Reflecting the personal consciousness hidden deep inside,pursuing the establishment of a new discourse that belongs to women themselves.The final chapter of this thesis analyzes the creative value of Lin Bai ’s novels from the perspective of the space narrative within Lin Bai ’s novels,and then spreads the influence of Lin Bai ’s narrative methods on her creation,thus forming the spatial narrative of Lin Bai ’s novels.In summary,the spatial narrative of Lin Bai ’s novels,including the formation of spatial form,spatial structure,the relationship between time and space,and narrative perspective,all cover ingenious ideas and become the narrative features of Lin Bai ’s novels.Narratology and spatial writing have brought important inspirations,and also brought opportunities for women in confusion.
