The great Liao Dynasty was built by the Qidan people on the grassland in the north of China.In the two hundred years of its rule,Inner Mongolia has always been the core area of its rule.Therefore,a large number of tombs of the Liao Dynasty have been discovered and the murals of the tombs of the Liao Dynasty have also appeared.In recent years,with the rescue excavation and protection of the Liao tomb murals,it has attracted the attention of the academic community.Based on the study of the Liao Dynasty mural tomb in Inner Mongolia,this paper makes a simple study on the honor guard pictures preserved in the Liao tomb.The article is divided into five chapters.The first chapter firstly sorts out the archaeological findings of the ritual battle pictures in the tomb murals of the Liao dynasty in Inner Mongolia,and then analyzes the types of ritual battle tools in the ritual battle pictures.The second chapter through the existing Liao dynasty tomb mural staging achievements,on the basis of the staging of the image of the ceremony;The third chapter analyzes the cultural factors in the ritual battle pictures of the Liao tomb murals in Inner Mongolia,including the religious factors and the reflection of the cultural factors in the central plains.The fourth chapter discusses the problems of the hierarchy reflected in the ritual battle pictures and the value of the ritual battle pictures.The guard of honor in the murals of Liao tombs in Inner Mongolia not only represents the higher level of painting in Liao Dynasty,but also represents the deep integration of Han culture and Qidan culture under the dual ruling policy of Qidan,which is another angle to study the politics,culture and art of Liao Dynasty.
