A Study Of Fet's Poetry From The Perspective Of Cognitive Metaphor

A.A.Fet is an outstanding representative of "pure art" poetry in Russia in the 19 th century.In his lifetime,he wrote more than 800 lyrical poems with artistic value and aesthetic features.He and ?.?.Pushkin,?.?.Lermontov,?.?.Tyutchev,?.?.Nekrasov referred to as the five most famous poets of Russia,and made great contributions to the development of Russian literature and poetry in the 19 th century.In this paper,we try to appreciate and analyze the poetry of A.A.Fet from the perspective of cognitive metaphor,and have a macro grasp of the metaphorical phenomenon in his poetry.Cognitive metaphor was put forward by American scholars George Lakoff and Mark Johnson in the 1980 s,which promoted the further development of the study of metaphor from the level of language to the level of thinking,and from the field of rhetoric to the field of cognitive science,which has attracted extensive attention from many scholars at home and abroad.The thesis is divided into four parts: introduction,main text,conclusion and reference.In the introduction,we explain the source of the topic and the significance of the research,the research review at home and abroad,thetheoretical basis,research methods and innovation and other related issues.The text is divided into four chapters: guided by cognitive metaphor,the first chapter summarizes the relevant definitions and explains the operation mechanism and classification of cognitive metaphor.The second chapter classifies the phenomenon of cognitive metaphor in Fet's poetry,it includes spatial metaphor,ontological metaphor and structural metaphor,which are defined and illustrated by examples.The third chapter analyzes the characteristics of cognitive metaphor in Fet's poetry,it includes coherence,nationality and uniqueness,and through the analysis of examples,each characteristic is explained one by one.In the fourth chapter,starting from rhetoric and cognitive semantic analysis,we discuss the role of cognitive metaphor in Fet's poetry.In this paper,we take the poetry of Russian poet A.A.Fet as the object of study,take cognitive metaphor as the theoretical framework,and discuss the phenomenon,characteristics and function of cognitive metaphor in poetry.The research is holistic and systematic,this attempt can be regarded as an effective supplement to the domestic academic research in this field,this paper is of certain reference significance for the appreciation and analysis of A.A.Fet's poetry.
