Southwest Hubei is a place where more than 20 ethnic minorities such as Tujia,Miao and Dong live together with the Han nationality;also because of its special geographical environment and natural climate,it has become one of the earliest birthplaces of humans in China and formed in the long river of history It is based on the Bapu culture and integrates Chu,Han and other cultures into a sedimentary zone.Today's southwestern Hubei region includes 10 county-level administrative divisions.Historically,the political system has experienced feudal centralization ruled by the bohemian system,the toast system,and the reintegration.After the establishment of New China,under the leadership of the Communist Party of China The rapid development of politics,economy and culture;in the context of the continuous improvement of transportation conditions and the continuous increase of national support policies,cities in southwestern Hubei have also developed rapidly;especially national culture and regional natural resources have become social and economic development High-quality resources,national cultural renaissance,and cultural self-confidence introspection have become important factors driving the internal drive of social progress.Therefore,the excavation,sorting,research,display and promotion of various ethnic cultures in southwestern Hubei have become the social responsibility and conscious behavior of governments,enterprises,institutions and people at all levels.Therefore,creating a good urban public space and displaying the local domain and the cultural characteristics of the nation in the public space has become one of the main cultural issues in the urban public space in southwestern Hubei since 2000,and has continuously spawned new art forms Appeared,that is,urban public murals.Through multiple field surveys and investigations of public murals in 10 counties and cities in southwestern Hubei,a large amount of urban public mural image data was collected.After sorting and sorting,the language elements,form rules and composition forms of the image were combined with literature data.In-depth analysis,summarizing the main characteristics of public murals in southwestern Hubei;and tracing the cultural meaning and symbol contained in public murals in southwestern Hubei;trying to explore the causes of its generation;becoming the main research content of this topic.This paper mainly consists of five chapters.The first chapter gives a brief overview of the basic situation of the public murals in the southwest of Hubei Province.Based on the statistics and analysis of the geographical location,representative cultural issues and the specific situation of the public space in the southwest of Hubei Province,it summarizes that the urban public murals in the southwest of Hubei Province are mainly distributed in the river corridor,cultural square and show the national characteristics,culture and historical changes Based on the content of the theme,four types of folk customs,historical stories,myths and legends and red culture are concluded.The second chapter analyzes the form composition of urban public murals in Southwest Hubei,classifies and analyzes the collected mural images,extracts the shape,color and form language elements of the image language of urban public murals in Southwest Hubei,and summarizes the image composition forms of paragraph,panorama and image text translation;the third chapter summarizes the City in Southwest Hubei through the analysis of the previous chapter The city's public murals have the artistic characteristics of paragraph narrative structure,panoramic space-time transformation and the integration of image and text,natural image imago,myth image humanization,realistic image typicalization,and the combination of shape and meaning,local materials,and static cultural interaction.The fourth chapter analyzes the cultural implication of urban public murals in Southwest Hubei,which is embodied in the functions of recording,disseminating and educating,the open and optimistic aesthetic taste,the aesthetic representation of group memory,the simple and honest aesthetic orientation of public mural image,the ethics of respecting the virtuous,filial piety and ancestors,and the patriotism The expression of the concept of image,such as the values of "harmony between man and nature","freedom and equality" and so on.The fifth chapter takes the typical cultural symbol sampling and the regional culture reflected by the local aesthetic consciousness as the theme source of urban public mural creation;at the same time,based on the high recognition of national culture and the promotion of the era expression of national spirit,the people show the interactive relationship between regional culture and art style;in order to represent the publicity of urban public mural in Southwest Hubei Value embodiment.
