Study Of The Lexicalization Of "Dangxuan" And Its Practical Significance Under The Background Of Mtcsol

This dissertation discussed the lexicalization of modern Chinese lexical word “dangxuan” and its practical meaning and significance under the background of mtcsol.The concept of lexicalization refers to the process of non-lexical components developed into the lexical words.First of all,the routine and the process of lexicalization of “dangxuan” will be discussed on the basis of analyzing the ancient Chinese corpse of “dangxuan”.Also,the changes of lexical meaning as well as the argument structures will be fully illustrated in the diachronic development of lexicalization of “dangxuan”.Meanwhile,the diachronic lexical condition will also be further discussed by studying and analyzing the modern Chinese corpse of “dangxuan”.Furthermore,what motivates the lexicalization of non-syntactic structure of“dangxuan” will also be fully studied on the basis of discussing those aspects like reanalyzing,the disappearing boundaries and Chinese parody influenced on the lexicalization of “dangxuan”.Last but not least,the significant role of the syntactic environment which played a critical role in the process of non-syntactic structure lexicalization of “dangxuan” that can be used in teaching Chinese as a second language as well as the second language learners under the background of the practice of MTCSOL.Besides,this dissertation will discuss the non-syntactic lexicalization of“dangxuan” from three main parts.The first part is the surface which introduces the reasons and the significance of the topic discussed in this dissertation.At the meantime,the concepts of grammaticalization and lexicalization together with the relationship between them are also cleared off in this part.Chapter 2,chapter 3 and chapter 4 consist of the second part of this paper,which is the main part and the core of this essay.The third part refers to the practical significance of the study,mainly discussed about the practical strategies and values which enlightened by the previous study of lexicalization of “dangxuan”.We choose the widely used textbookDeveloping Chinese as a research model.Based on the previous studies,we found out the some words like “yibian”?“yimian” and “cong'er” which are formed from same non-syntactic lexicalization type.In this chapter,the suggestion of textbook compilation that illuminated by the previous study will be given,then,as for the teaching practices,the errors made by the second language learners of the mentioned words will be analyzed.At last,the suggestions will be raised to avoid the errors and improve the level of teaching in theory from the perspective of lexicalizaton.
