A Study On The Singing Practice Of Mei Pai’s Vocal In "Pear Flower Song" From "Island Ice Wheel"

Mei Lanfang’s artistic genre,Mei School,has played a pivotal role in the development of Peking Opera,and is also a representative artistic genre in Peking Opera.On the basis of inheriting traditional Peking opera,Peking opera is a song created by incorporating modern musical elements.Its appearance is both an innovation of traditional Peking opera and a enrichment of modern songs.This thesis will analyze the sings of Mei Lanfang and Li Shengsu’s version of "Islandic Ice Wheel First Turn" by means of research methods such as literature data method,spectrum case analysis method,and practice singing method.The song "Pear Flower Song" analyzes the characteristics of the melody and the use of the Mei School vocals,and realizes the fusion and innovation of the Mei School aria.By borrowing from the style of Mei’s vocal style and combining with her own singing practice,I hope that I can learn more of the advantages of Mei’s vocal style in the vocal music learning process,so that I can better sing Peking Opera-type songs in the future.At the same time,I hope to spread and promote this form of national music.
