"Haocao Gong And Drum " is an original folk song widely spread in eastern Sichuan,western Hubei.At the beginning of this century,it was brought to the stage of CCTV Young Singers' TV Grand Prix by " Tumiao brother and sister combination " in Changyang,and " Funeral Dance combination " in Badong,Hubei Province and received extensive attention then.Scholars and singers who study the original ecological folk songs analyze and study the different dimensions of Tujia "Haocao Gong And Drum",most of which focus on musical tonality,cultural characteristics,aesthetic connotations and so on,but there are few references on how to integrate the special techniques of "Haocao Gong And Drum" and change it into modern national vocal music singing.The author,as a member of Tujia nationality,makes use of the convenient conditions as a member of Lichuan Lantern Song Art Troupe to carry on the field investigation,refers to the existing research literature on "Haocao Gong And Drum",and probes into how to integrate the folk original ecological folk songs into the modern national vocal music singing and perfect the stage performance.
