Correlation Between Bow Contact String And Viola Timbre

Violas in western stringed instruments are known as "palettes".How to play a full and mellow tone has always been the pursuit of the viola player.However,the relationship between the acquisition of this tone and the structure of the viola's instrument and the movement of bows has received little attention.The article will discuss three aspects: one is the main factors and common problems of viola string vibrations,the other is the specific methods and practice of improving string vibrations,and the third is the significance of exploring the correlation between string vibration and bow movement.The author tries to analyze the vibration of the viola bow to the string vibration and its internal relationship with the ideal tone by using the related theories of string vibration in music acoustics and examples.
