Study On Hero Images In Chinese Historical Drama Play Scripts With Minority Themes In The 1980s

The research object of this thesis is the minority hero images in the Chinese historical drama scripts of the 1980 s.This paper summarizes the cultural connotation and aesthetic characteristics of the minority hero images in the historical drama scripts of the 1980 s.This paper is divided into three parts: introduction,body part and conclusion.The main body consists of four chapters.The introduction includes the reasons for the topic selection,research purpose and significance,research methods and innovations,the concept of “hero”,the concept of “historical drama” and a literature review of historical plays.The first chapter gives an overview of national minorities and their heroic images.In myth stories,epics,and folk stories,the characteristics of minority hero images include: born extraordinary,shoulder important mission,by virtue of his wisdom and valor,and war and religion are important contents in the heroic stories of ethnic minorities.In operas and historical dramas from 1949 to 1979,the images of ethnic heroes are more diversified and more characteristic of The Times.Some historical dramas from 1949 to 1979 have a profound understanding of the heroes of ethnic minorities.The second chapter discusses the minority hero images in the drama scripts of 1980 s.It is divided into world heroes,female heroes,chivalrous heroes,combat heroes to discuss.Summed up its characteristics include: moral perfection,single character.Compared with the heroes of ethnic minorities in the historical dramas from 1949 to 1979,the heroic images of ethnic minorities in the historical plays of the 1980 s have not shown many obvious changes and development.The third chapter makes a comparative study of the minority hero images in the historical drama scripts of the 1980 s and 1990 s.It was not until the 1990 s that more complicated and profound minority heroes appeared in historical dramas.This is the result of continuous practice and accumulation of experience in the creation of historical plays in the 1980 s.The fourth chapter discusses the cultural connotation and aesthetic characteristics of the minority hero images in the historical drama scripts of the 1980 s.In terms of cultural connotation,the hero imagesof ethnic minorities in the historical plays of the 1980 s show two characteristics: The combination of Chinese traditional culture and minority culture,the collision between traditional culture and modern culture.Its aesthetic characteristics include: the character characteristic of unity of richness,definiteness and firmness,the aesthetic ideal of the combination of individual will and social ideal,the tragic heroic image.The conclusion summarizes the whole paper.
