The Mongolian scanning and translating pen which based on the embedded system is an electronic dictionary with scanning recognition as the main input method.This thesis studies related research from three aspects: hardware design,Mongolian scanning recognition and Mongolian electronic dictionary.In this research,the process of building a hardware platform for a Mongolian scanning and translating pen is elaborated in detail from the aspects of demand analysis,overall design,and hardware implementation.The hardware platform of the Mongolian scanning and translating pen integrates a camera,a screen,an audio module,a keyboard module and a power module,and is an embedded hardware system with portable,lightweight and powerful computing capabilities.On this hardware platform,studied the digital image processing of the Mongolian scanning and translating pen and implemented the video stitching and text cutting algorithms.After comparing AlexNet with different structures,the improved AlexNet model was implemented on Mongolian scanning recognition system.Furthermore,based on the database of the "Mongolian Dictionary" and the "Mongolian-Chinese Dictionary",realize the Mongolian electronic dictionary system through B+ tree and Mongolian retrieval engine.Through this research,the Mongolian scanning and translating pen with functions of scanning recognition,Mongolian interpretation,Chinese translation,and word pronouncing is created.It also provides a hardware platform for research on speech recognition,speech translation and speech synthesis.
