Liszt’s piano piece "The Mepbisto Waltz No1",based on a large poem "Faust"and adapted from the "Faust symphony",is a large piano solo.This paper selected the five different geographical culture in differnt eras pianist vladimir horowitz,George Po column,lazar berman,Ye Fuge,sheen,Daniel blessed by terry’s performance.detailed comparison research,through the speed,strength,tone from several aspects,analyzes the playing skill,emotion processing with different characteristics.Combined with the analysis results,the problems and difficultics in performance were discussed to finally achieve the effect of guiding performance and practice.The thesis will be discussed through four parts.The first part is the introduction,in which the author will explain the significance of the topic,rsearch status and research methods.The second part is the detailed introduction of the five pianists and the audio materials.The thrid part is the core of this paper,through a detailed comparison of the five pianists’ performance acoustics,analysis and study the similarities and differences and characteristics of their performance.The fourth part is based on the comparative analysis results,combined with their own practice and performance experience,to explore the performance and practice process need to improve and pay attention to Finally,the conclusion of this paper will be summarized.
