| This paper, based on the stelae inscriptions, investigates the development process and forms of Taoism in yaowang mountain in shaanxi from song dynasty to qing dynasty, discusses the relationship between Taoism, the gentry and the civil society, and reveals the historical mechanism and characteristics of the localization of Taoism.Yaowang mountain is located in guanzhong of shaanxi province, which is deeply influenced by Buddhism and Taoism. Before the song dynasty,Buddhism and Taoism existed side by side. After the song dynasty,Taoism gradually became the mainstream culture of yaowang mountain due to the strong advocacy of the dynasty, which changed the previous dominant position of Buddhism. From song dynasty to qing dynasty, the development of Taoism in yaowang mountain had different forms and evolutions. In the period of emperor huizong of song dynasty, when sun simiao was granted the title of real person, the official sacrificial activities began to appear on yao wang mountain.During the jin and yuan dynasties, yao wang mountain not only became a place for local officials and members of the royal family to worship, but quanzhen Taoism reached its peak in yao wang mountain. In the Ming dynasty, the belief of sun yuren gradually alienated from the central government and was closely related to the civil society. From the scale of the sacrificial ceremony, before the mid-ming dynasty, the sacrificial ceremony to sun simiao was mainly concentrated in the jingming palace of nan ’an.After the mid-ming dynasty, the sacrificial ceremony center was transferred to the taixuan cave in the north mountain.Meanwhile, the sacrificial ceremony in the jingming palace was also carried out in an orderly manner. The evolution trend and characteristics of daoism in yaowang mountain are closely related to people in different ages. From the perspective of the main body of participation, from the song dynasty to the Ming dynasty, the sacrificial ceremony was highly valued by the authorities, and Taoist temples and personnel enjoyed special privileges. After the Ming dynasty, the influence of quanzhen Taoism began to declinegradually.Especially in the qing dynasty, the influence of quanzhen Taoism declined, prompting it to change its development mode and actively integrate into the local society. At the same time, the official withdrawal gradually, the participation of local gentry, businessmen, people and other social strata significantly increased. After the qing dynasty, the sacrificial activities of sun man in yaowang mountain appeared in the form of folk belief, which realized the localization process of Taoism. |
