| In this article,we propose a method used to assess the sense distinction of polysemy We also investigate how linguistics features shape the distinction.Sense distinction of polysemy is how difficult when people are trying to determine whether the word is polysemy in running texts,since the sense distinction of polysemy is based on both the lexicon and the language use,it’s regarded as an output feature.We try to use a questionnaire as indicator of the sense distinction.The result validates the method,and also,we find that the sense distinction depends on how much different the two senses are,and how the distinctive features realized in running textsThis paper is divided into six chaptersChapter One is the introduction part.First,we outline the purpose and meaning of our study.Then,we give an overview of the study related to this article,and review their advantages and disadvantages.At last,we introduce theoretical methods and the corpus sourceChapter Two is the analysis of the sense distinction of polysemy,where the research object,content and method are introduced in detail,and the logical relationship of the subsequent chapters is explainedChapter Three describes the syntactic and semantic structure,and analyzes three distinctive features,including syntax,semantic combination restrictions and semantic roleChapter Four introduces the detail of the questionnaire,including distinctive feature labeling,example sentence writing,questionnaire and result processingChapter Five describes and analyzes how the three distinctive features influence the sense distinctionChapter Six is the conclusion,which summarizes the conclusions of this paper,the innovation and shortcomings,and further research direction. |
