From Life To Literature

Drinking tea and eating food in Lao Ba Cha(places for food,beverage and relaxation in Hainan)is a folk custom in Hainan.Dating back to more than 100 years ago,Lao Ba Cha was included in the list of intangible cultural heritage in Haikou in August 2019.The current news reports and academic research have paid attention to the origin of Lao Ba Cha,and analyzed the social and cultural functions of Lao Ba Cha from the perspectives of political science,economics,and cultural anthropology.As a unique and representative folk custom in Hainan,Lao Ba Cha is not only an indispensable habit in the daily life of Hainan people,but also an important theme created by writers in Hainan,and has become a cultural symbol with Hainan local characteristics.However,there are few studies to explore the cultural connotation of Lao Ba Cha from the perspective of literature.In fact,folk culture is the externalization of the psychology and emotion of populace,and literature and art are the important media to carry and express this inner spirit.Therefore,In view of the Hainan literature,we can not only understand the broadness and regularity of Lao Ba Cha in Hainan,but also further analyze the cultural connotations such as gender,folk psychology,and popular character reflected by Lao Ba Cha in literature;at the same time,When we analyze the Lao Ba Cha in the modern context in literature,we can also reveal the writer’s recollection and reflection of the local culture.This paper begins with the following six parts.The first part is the introduction,which explains the origin,current status,research significance,research methods,research content,and innovations of the research.The second part is based on the unique Hainan natural and human ecology,and analyzes the background of the origin and development of Lao Ba Cha.The third part is starting from the literary conception,this chapter holds that the premise for the creation of Lao Ba Cha includes: the local writers of Hainan adhere to the creation of regional themes,the cultural concept contained in Lao Ba Cha,and the revelation of Lao Ba Cha concept to the subject and its cultural identity.The fourth part specifically expounds the influence of Lao Ba Cha on literary creation,summarizes and analyzes Lao Ba Cha constructed in Hainan literature,and uses the critical method of spatial theory to analyze the spatial form of Lao Ba Cha in literature,the folk entanglement and the folk psychology;The fifth part is based on the perspective of modernity,and analyzes the author’s spatial imagination and cultural reflection expressed by Lao Ba Cha.The sixth part is the conclusion,which is to sort out the content and viewpoints of the paper and summarizes the aesthetic interpretation of Lao Ba Cha.
