The Change Of A Hard-working Artist In His Later Years

Chinese painting and calligraphy have a long history.In Chinese painting and calligraphy,attention is paid not only to the form of expression,but also to the artistic conception,charm and personal cultivation of the works.Today's painters and calligraphers have an unprecedented awareness of physical health,and longevity has a great influence on the creation of artists.Some artists can still maintain their artistic peak in their old age,while some painters can not often paint because of physical reasons,or because of their lack of accomplishment,can not set foot in a new artistic peak,dare not change their ways easily.However,Mr.Yu Xining not only lived a long life,but also is a famous artist and art educator in modern and contemporary China.He is a scholarly artist with comprehensive artistic accomplishment in poetry,calligraphy,painting,seal and art history.Yu Xining's longevity played a crucial role in changing the law in his later years.If it were not for his life,which lasted for nearly a century,we would not have seen the works of Yu Xining,the great master of painting,presented to people today.It can be said that his paintings and his life are mutually nourishing.Yu xining is renowned for his plum blossom paintings.Since the 1930 s,he began to sketch the plum blossom,and made an indissoluble bond with plum blossom.Since then,Yu xining has spent more than 70 years strolling in the world of plum blossoms.In this paper,the art of plum blossom painting in Yu Xining's old age is taken as the theme,and the age and art affecting change of approach in old age of Chinese painters are analyzed concretely,the comprehensive accomplishment supporting the reform of Yu Xining in his later years is analyzed,and the stages and characteristics of his change in his lateryears are explained and analyzed emphatically.Finally,the influence of Yu Xining's plum blossom painting art in his later years on later generations of students is analyzed,as well as the enlightenment to the painting world.This paper is divided into six parts,which are the introduction,the text and the conclusion.In the introduction,the purpose and significance of the topic are discussed,and the status quo of the study of Yu Xining is explained.In the first chapter,the age and art of Chinese painters are discussed,the relationship between calligraphy and painting and health maintenance,the relationship between longevity and the change of old age,and the relationship between "state of advanced years" and "young age"are analyzed.The positive effect of calligraphy and painting art creation on the painter's psychological and emotional regulation has been explained,which laid the foundation for Yu Xining's method change in his old age.Longevity provides artists with conditions for artistic sublimation,and Yu Xining's change in his old age is the sublimation of his artistic maturity.The "state of advanced years" in painting theory is one of the many states of Chinese painting,which is the unique artistic rule of Chinese painting,the expression of the painters in the period of maturity of their art,and the state of plain innocence and unsophisticated simplicity that the painters achieve in painting.In the second chapter,Yu Xining's comprehensive accomplishment is discussed.Yu Xining's success in changing the law in his later years is inseparable from his ideological cultivation of "nourishing the spirit,paying attention to literary talent ",life accomplishment of" materializing the mind,spiritualizing the material ",cultural accomplishment of " ability,virtue and diligence ",and artistic accomplishment of "three souls in one".In this paper,the four aspectsof ideological cultivation,cultural cultivation,life cultivation and art cultivation are further discussed.Meanwhile,Yu Xining,as the"assiduous school",his "diligence"in his knowledge of art is also pointed out.His love for the society and humanity and the nature of art are analyzed,as well as the influence of these factors on his artistic thoughts and life attitude.In the third chapter,Yu Xining's plum blossom painting art from the use of poetry to draw plum blossom to the realm of nature is discussed.It is divided into two stages: the first is the prelude to the change of law in his old age(from the middle of the "cultural revolution""to the middle of the 1980s): in this period,Yu Xining's works were mainly plum blossom,driven by sketching,and characterized by the creation of poems,postscript and brushwork in artistic conception,and his style was from the beautiful to the magnificent;The second is the sublimation of the law change in his old age(from the middle of the 1980 s to 2007): during this period,Yu Xining began to change the law in his old age,that is,the youth of the old style,"grafting"in his creation,"writing"his personality and "writing"his spirit,which has achieve the realm of"creative freedom".In the fourth chapter,the influence of Yu Xining's plum blossom painting art in his later years on later generations of students is analyzed as well as the enlightenment to the painting world.Yu Xining cultivated a large number of talents,including Liu Xilin,Tan Yinglin,Qi Xinmin,Shen Guangwei,Zhao Jianmin,Liu Yuquan,Ma Linchun,Wang Jumingand other painters,as well as the flower and bird painting teaching in Shandong College of Arts,which are deeply influenced by Yu Xining's plum flower painting art.In addition,Yu Xining's accomplishment of"ability,virtue and diligence",his heart of "three souls in one",broad and specialization,and inheritance and innovation are alsosummarized.
