Language belongs to society.Popular words are linguistic phenomena that reflect the characteristics of the times and are closely related to changes in social development.Based on the previous scholars' research,this paper takes the two-syllables buzzwords selected by the magazine Yao Wen Jiao Zi from 2013 to2015 as the research object,and carries out in-depth description and analysis from the three levels of semantics,grammar and pragmatics.Focusing on the detailed analysis of the use factors at the beginning and the two stages of development.This article is divided into three parts.The first part is the introduction,which mainly introduces the research value and significance,the research status of the various language levels of buzzwords,the research content ideas,the research theoretical methods and the basis for selecting research objects and corpus.By analyzing the characteristics of buzzwords,this paper makes its own definition of the terminology,and puts forward its own opinions on the shortcomings of various levels in the study of buzzwords.The second part is the main part of the thesis.From the three levels of semantic formation,syntactic functions and pragmatic survey,the six two-syllables refer to the human buzzwords from 2013 to 2015.The first chapter analyzes the semantic origin and development of buzzwords in a diachronic and metaphorical way;the second chapter describes the standard and non-standard syntactic functions of these words;the third chapter conduct investigations,descriptions,and analysis in the two stages of the generation and development of buzzwords.The third part is the conclusion.From the overall comparison of the six two-syllables buzzwords,the similarities and differences of human buzzwords in semantic formation,syntactic functions and pragmatic survey are summarized.
