Research Of Zhixun In The Interpretation Of Zhouli By Zhengxuan

As one of the most classical heritage that sparkles with the confusion ideas,Zhouli is a book that expresses statecraft through the bureaucracy.It is considered the treasure house of Chinese cultural history and has an extensive influence on later generations.Zhengxuan was a master on the area of explaining the ancient classical books,his way and masterpieces were a common practice for the annotators.In the explanation of Zhoulizhu,he used the way of Zhixun.This paper used the semanteme knowledge that promoted by Mrs Wangning,a famous professor of Beijing Normal University,to analyze the semantic relations between the target words and the Meta-language.Then we analyzed the high-frequency words,trying to describe the characteristics of meta-language in Zhixun.We connect the theories of critical interpretation of ancient texts,lexical semantics and lexicography,hoping to do something useful to the compilation of dictionary.Firstly,we made statistics about Zhixun method in Zhoulizhu,laying the foundation to the following parts.The patterns that were used in Zhoulizhu was less than that of Shuowenjiezi,a famous dictionary in ancient Chinese.The Meta-language and terms were also different from that of Shuowenjiezi.It showed that compared with dictionaries,the explanations in ancient books were more fixed,more specific.Secondly,We separated the Zhixun method to Ciyixunshi and Wenyixunshi.We used the semanteme knowledge that promoted by Mrs Wangning,to analyze the semantic relations between the target words and the Meta-language.This paper made conclusion about the relations between Ciyixunshi and Wenyixunshi.We argues that Ciyixunshi included equivalent explanation and unequivalence.There were several relations between the target words and the Meta-language,such as hypernym-hyponym,synonymy,paronym.As for the Wenyixunshi part,We prompted the principles of determining Wenyixunshi.Wenyixunshi was based on Ciyixunshi,and may transform to it.Finally,through the statistical data of the frequency of the explanation words,We described the features of Meta – language.This paper took the opinion that the meta-language has a powerful explanation function.It is characterized by generality.It mainly basics on the written language,and uses dialects when necessary.
