The expression of the relationship between man and land in Chinese contemporary ecological literature has formed a common topic: wilderness protection.Under the ecocriticism paradigm that emphasizes the intertextual reference between text and environment, the attempt to study wilderness from the perspective and starting point is not only to explore the aesthetic thoughts embodied in literary creation, but also to elucidate its ecological significance. The ability and process of wilderness self-renewal are influenced and controlled by human beings. To create a model for healthy land,it is necessary to seek the universal realistic relation from the ecological literature, and then realize the wilderness protection in the process of reviewing the relationship between man and land. This paper takes the classic works of writers as an example, focusing on the specific ecological themes carried by different wilderness forms.First of all, this paper sorts out the definition of wilderness, nature, environment and the close relationship between wilderness and human to complete the basic cognition of ‘wilderness'.To clarify the meaning of ‘man' and ‘earth' and the relevant understanding of the theory of the relationship between man and earth.By summarizing the types of wilderness written on both sides of the ecological literature, this paper briefly describes four important ecological aesthetic thoughts embodied in the description of wilderness.Secondly, according to the logic of the three relations of man as the visitor, enemy and friend of the land, the text with prominent characteristics of wilderness description is selected to reasonably explain the three relations' corresponding three aspects of creating a sense of belonging, highlighting the destruction and reflecting the aesthetics of urban landscape. Finally,in the conclusion part,I summarize the basic point of this paper, that is,by finding different descriptions of wilderness,we can have a new understanding of the evolution of human-land relationship, and put forward the shortcomings of this paper while summarizing the full text.
