Since its publication in 1967,One Hundred Years of Solitude has been translated by more than 30 languages,and had triggered a worldwide wave of communication.Garcia Marquez won the Nobel Prize in Literature for his literary masterpiece.After Entering China,One Hundred Years of Solitude has aroused strong repercussions among elite readers and ordinary readers,and has become a best-selling classic of foreign literature in China.This article draws on the methods of history of reading research and conducts a multi-faceted study on the reading of One Hundred Years of Solitude in China.The full text is divided into three parts.The first part discusses the reading of One Hundred Years of Solitude by elite readers.First,it sorts out the scholarly reading of One Hundred Years of Solitude.Scholars' reading of One Hundred Years of Solitude has experienced the introduction period,deepening period,and expansion period.The reading evaluation of One Hundred Years of Solitude has undergone a change from critical to affirmative,and its text interpretation strategy has also changed from extreme ideological criticism to objective multi-dimensional perspective.Secondly,it sorts out the author's inspirational reading of One Hundred Years of Solitude.In the 1980 s and 1990 s,writers began reading One Hundred Years of Solitude out of the reading motives of going to the world and modernizing literature.In reading it,they produced reading reactions such as discomfort,shock,and resonance.The second part combines the translation and introduction of One Hundred Years of Solitude in China,which restores the reaction and interpretation of ordinary readers reading One Hundred Years of Solitude in different periods.Ordinary readers' interpretation of One Hundred Years of Solitude from Single Convergence to Rich and Multi-dimensional Interpretation.The third part discusses the intellectualized results brought by elite readers and ordinary readers to read One Hundred Years of Solitude,and studies the reading of One Hundred Years of Solitude in the education of university literature history and middle school Chinese education.The knowledge construction of One Hundred Years of Solitude in the textbooks of foreign literature originated from the research-based reading of One Hundred Years of Solitude by literary researchers.The entry and exit of One Hundred Years of Solitude in high school Chinese textbooks shows the game between elite readers and ordinary readers.
