Seeing The World In Painting

Camus said: "The absurdity erupted from a comparison of a state of behavior and a certain reality,an action and a world beyond this action." From a philosophical perspective,the idea of absurdity is to rationalism.question.So far,the development of human society has first solved the problem of survival.Under the struggle with the environment,people have a rational way of thinking that brings huge material benefits and extensive social achievements to human beings.But reason is not omnipotent.As basic life needs are met,there is still a part of human life—the personal spiritual realm—that cannot be filled by reason.In the world's cognition system of opposition and contradiction,human beings have a sense of ignorance of lack of spirit and a sense of panic about the unknown world.Cognitive forms are gradually alienated and limited,which is the root of the birth of "absurd" emotions.Also as Camus said: "The feeling of absurdity does not result from a simple examination of a fact or an impression...Absurdity is essentially a separation,which does not belong to any party of the comparative factor,but arises from the comparative factor Confrontation."What I want to express in my thesis and work comes down to the “Absurd”situation is a reflection of the behavior of people and their environment.Based on my research of the word “absurdity”,I highlighted the expression “context”-absurdity is an emotional expression of a person in a situation of suffering.When people feel their absurd situation and the cruel reality of this world,we must dare to look at this absurd world and confront it,find value for ourselves and strive for happiness in non-existence and meaninglessness.The absurd situation is mainly reflected in three aspects in personal paintings: one is the absurd feeling in a fairy-tale situation of the picture,the second is the virtual situation in the picture depicting a personal dream;Based on these three main characteristics of personal painting,this article traces the roots of my ownpainting creativity,explores the artists and creative methods that influenced me,and explores the expression of absurd situations in creating personal painting.
