| This paper takes the visual illusory space of contemporary relief、 tactile material space and its spatial relationship as the main research object.The traditional theory always divides the relief space according to the image vision and the material touch,one is the relief painting illusory space,the other is the relief material real space;but in fact,the relief space essence is neither the illusory space nor the material real space,its uniqueness lies in its establishment is the relationship space between the two,it belongs to both the imaginary space and the real material space of the audience;contains both the touch and the vision;contains both the past time and the viewer’s current time;both this shore and the other shore.At the beginning of this paper,we go back to the origin of the reliefs and analyze the original rock carvings and ancient reliefs in the original situation,to explore the formal nature and spiritual characteristics of the reliefs obscured in the development process: one is inseparable from the "wall ",the " wall " is different from the " ground " in the spirit of imagination;the other is the relief of the embossed material and the viewer space has the tactile feelings,inclines to the material reality feeling.This spatial relationship between the two forms a form structure of duality,which is both real and illusory,and which is close and alienated,to a certain extent,and this duality also fits with the spiritual orientation of people at that time.This duality also fits with the spiritual orientation of people at that time in a certain extent.The key content of the article is to break the binary division of the traditional relief space on the basis of laying the essence of the relief,and to find out the "contemporary nature" of the contemporary relief from the perspective of the spatial relationship.The relationship between image space and material space of traditional relief is fixed relations of coincidence,while the material and space expression ofcontemporary relief,its embossed material,is no longer a fixed “frame” attachment to the image content,but reflects the " frame " itself reproduction mode and the complex of various conceptual forms,which is the real space and illusory space relationship expression exploration and experiment.From formal change to material exploration,from single structure to synthesis structure,from function to concept,etc.they all create the unique spatial relationship between illusory space and material space from many different angles,which leads to the visual form different from the traditional relief,which leads to the unique ambiguous and comprehensive mental feeling and physical experience.The paper also discusses the similarities and differences between the installations based on the wall and the contemporary relief in form and language.The latter part of the article compares the three art types of contemporary relief,painting and sculpture from the perspective of space,and tries to compare the similarities and differences of the three art types from the aspects of art elements,composition and viewing mode,to find the unique value of contemporary relief. |
