A Research On The Uniqueness Of The Character Relief Line Style In Huang Mufu's Seal Cutting

In the seal circles of the later Qing Dynasty,the character relief line style in Yishan Huang Mufu's seal cutting developed a school of its own.On the basis of sorting out Huang's seal art,this paper discusses the typical style of seal carved in relief of seal style and its aesthetics in its mature period,summaries that the character relief line style in Huang Mufu's seal cutting features of simplicity and ancient meaning of Seal script,vivid structure,well-arranged space.Based on that,it further the concrete expression of these three characteristics,and proposed “Making hard things simple,in the shape of Gilding Script”.“ the Huang' s style of the linear application,the geometry of the shape,the meaning of goldstone flavor and writing”,“the philosophy of spacing and Miracle and Justice” and other way and method to realize the uniqueness of its seal style.In the process of my research,the author makes full use of the image analysis method,with the help of the clear image of the seal mould and the original stone carved surface,presents the unique appearance and interest of Huang' s seal style.In addition,it also briefly analyzes the inheritance and development of Li and Yi on the character relief line style in Huang Mufu's seal cutting.Generally speaking,the author not only hopes to promote the research,inheritance and innovation of Huang' s unique seal style,but also hopes to improve his further study of this seal style and its effective application in creative practice.
