In 2012,with the launch of "China on the Tip of the Tongue",a large number of gourmet documentaries were born,which set off a shooting boom for gourmet documentaries.As the times change,gourmet documentaries are constantly developing and improving.At present,the research on gourmet documentary in academic and creative circles focuses on textual analysis of gourmet documentary,or on narrative methods,communication characteristics and comparative studies.Therefore,it is necessary to conduct research on the creation of gourmet documentary.Based on the background of the times,this article systematically elaborates on the research background,development history,and research status of gourmet documentaries.It summarizes gourmet documentaries,through the research of many excellent gourmet documentaries,through literature research and cultural research.The creative method and its application in creative practice provide corresponding theoretical basis and practical reference for the creation of gourmet documentary.Combined with the graduation work to summarize the experience and enlightenment,it has certain research value and practical significance for the future development of gourmet documentary.At the same time,it is pointed out that at the creative level,it is necessary to have innovative concepts of rich audiovisual language and regional cultural fusion.
