Research On The Regeneration Of Fine Art Character Design In The Republic Of China

This thesis starts from the fine art word design in the modernism design movement in the Republic of China and selects the Hangzhou time-honored brand established in the Republic of China to conduct a case study.With significant impact of incoming foreign cultural ideas during wartime,the Chinese designers of the time responded to the change by combining modernism design styles with traditional Chinese aesthetic concepts,and created a large number of fine art characters.It is precious to see that they got rid of the long-lasting influence of the unified traditional Chinese calligraphy and developed their unique style of fine art characters.The study analyzes the formation of modern art characters in the Republic of China period and their influencing fields from the intersection of the horizontal axis of time and the vertical axies of ancient,modern,Chinese,and foreign countries.Through the review of western modernism design movements,the author focuses on studying their influence on Chinese design during the time of Republic of China.The idea of referring to,drawing on and using the unique tonality of the nation to redesign and create Chinese characters still is still of significance today.With great curiosity about the formation and evolution of the fine art characters in the Republic of China,the author redesigned the fonts of Hangzhou's time-honored brands with the experience and methodology from early last century.If I returned to that era,I would relive the classics of that era.The virtual Party A,the relationship between the unreal employee and employer,have become the main line of this article's seemingly auxiliary line.The author thinks about her own practice: the meaning and value of the art word design in the Republic of China at that time and to the current Chinese font design.
