| Guan Wuliangshou Jing(观无量寿经),hereinafter referred to as Guanjing(观经),is one of the“Three important Buddhist scriptures of the Pure Land Sect”.Guanjing(观经)is widely circulated,and there are lots of commentaries of Guanjing(观经).According to our statistical data,there are 107 Dunhuang Chinese manuscripts of Guanjing(观经)and its commentaries,4 related manuscripts.This paper explores these munuscripts in six parts:Part one is the introduction.Outline its propagation and translation,Introduce its basic situation.Also introduces the research object,research status,research content,research method,research significance of this article.Part two is to describe the identified manuscripts of Guanjing(观经)and its commentaries one by one,including a lot of detailed information such as the completion,content,calligraphy style,writing time and so on,which builds a foundation for further study,e.g.rejoining and revising.Part three is to identify the unidentified fragments.Frist introduce rows,content,the beginning and end heading,character from of each fragment with picture,then give the predicate based on the content.Besides,this part also renames the identified manuscripts with incorrect or uncertain names.Part four is to rejoin 16 fragments of Part Guanjing(观经)and its commentaries into 6 groups by analyzing both the content and the material manifestation of that content,and corroborate each conclusion with rejoined pictures.These achievements can reunite separated manuscripts,show its original appearance more intuitively.Part five is to collate and edit Guanjing’s(观经)commentaries.In the eight commentaries that have been found,4 commentaries can only be found in Dunhuang documents.These part collates and edit 3 commentaries which is more complete,looking forward to providing more detailed information for subsequent research.Part five is the variant characters of Guanjing’s(观经).These part compared more completed manuscripts of Guanjing’s(观经)with versions handed down like Gaolizang(高丽藏).Stareting from literature,explained related variant characters. |
