A Study Of Variants In The Dunhuang Manuscripts Golden Light Sutra Recitation Collected By The National Library

As The Sutra of Protecting the Country of Tang Dynasty,Golden Light Sutra Recitation has been widely spread.There are as many as 887 Dunhuang manuscripts in the National Library,and its research on script variants is of great academic value.In this paper,based on Taisho New Revised Tripitaka,the author makes a comparative study of Dunhuang manuscripts collected in the National Library of Golden Light Sutra Recitation,and collates the manuscripts in Dunhuang,and compiles the entries of script variants,and distinguishes and differentiates these variants,so as to help the collation and interpretation of the Buddhist scriptures,so as to reveal the value of the study of the Chinese history of variants in Dunhuang,and make up for the special study of Dunhuang manuscripts Lack of research.The paper mainly includes the following contents:The introduction mainly discusses the reason of choosing the topic,research status,research materials and research methods.The first chapter is a general introduction of script variants in Golden Light Sutra Recitation.This chapter mainly discusses the translator and version,the definition and classification of script variants,the source of script variants and the significance of script variants research.The second chapter is about the study of different characters in Golden Light Sutra Recitation.This chapter mainly combs and studies the phenomenon of script variants caused by different use of characters,such as variant characters,borrowed characters and ancient and modern characters.The third chapter is the study of different vocabularies in Golden Light Sutra Recitation.This chapter mainly analyzes the phenomenon of script variants caused by the replacement of the original words because of the synonymy or homology of words.The fourth chapter is the study of collating variants in Golden Light Sutra Recitation.This chapter mainly collates and dialectically analyzes the phenomenon of script variants caused by the different pronunciation,different punctuation and the missing or adding or reversing words.The conclusion summarizes the main contents of the paper,points out the shortcomings of the research and the future research direction.
