On The Application Of Calligraphy Brush In Helan Mountain Theme Creation

Helan Mountain,as the "father mountain" of Ningxia people,has made great contributions to the development of the surrounding areas from its geographical location to historical changes.Through the study of the relationship between calligraphy and painting,and the way of using brush in the works of famous calligraphers and painters of all ages,the author starts with his own experience and makes a series of practical explorations on the use of brush in Helan Mountain painting creation."Calligraphy brush" as a kind of brush technique borrowed from the traditional Chinese art calligraphy category,makes the picture effect of painting creation have a qualitative change.Since ancient times,Chinese painters have applied various styles of calligraphy strokes in different subjects of painting creation,which also shows the importance of calligraphy strokes in traditional Chinese painting creation.Therefore,the author believes that only by mastering the technique of calligraphy brush and applying the painting language and expression form contained in it to the landscape painting creation of Helan Mountain,can we truly show the place full of story and Charm--Helan Mountain.In the process of creation,the author studies the brush styles of the five styles of line,grass,Li,Zhuan and Kai in traditional calligraphy,and applies them to the creation of multiple themes with Helan Mountain as the theme through preliminary attempts,and makes a simple description of the specific techniques and creation effects of the brush.The author hopes to use his own humble pen as a reference to fill the blank of Helan Mountain in terms of painting techniques,better enrich the expressiveness of Helan Mountain,express the spiritual connotation of Helan Mountain culture,and promote the cultural development of Helan Mountain in Ningxia.
