Morality has always been a topic of great concern. The results show that both emotion regulation strategies and situational similarity can affect the results of moral judgment, but the study of both affect moral judgment is still insufficient. The research uses the method of questionnaire and experiment to explore the influence of emotion regulation strategy and situation similarity on moral judgment. The first experiment is to explore the influence of emotion regulation strategies(expression suppression, non regulation and cognitive reappraisal)on the judgment of moral behavior(moral behavior, immoral behavior and neutral behavior). The results showed that the negative emotions(such as disgust and anger)of the subjects who used cognitive reappraisal and expression suppression emotion regulation strategies were significantly lower than those of the subjects who did not use emotion regulation strategies;the judgment of moral behavior and neutral behavior of the subjects who used cognitive reappraisal and expression suppression emotion regulation strategies was not significantly different from that of the subjects who did not use emotion regulation strategies. For the judgment of immoral behavior, the evaluation criteria of cognitive reappraisal group and expression suppression group were looser than that of non emotion regulation group.Experiment two is based on experiment one, adding the similarity of moral situation,to further explore whether there are differences between the two emotion regulation strategies on the judgment of immoral behavior. The experimental results show that there is no significantdifference in the judgment of unethical behavior between the cognitive reappraisal group and the expression suppression group in the case of low situational similarity. In the case of high situational similarity, there is significant difference in the judgment of unethical behavior between the cognitive reappraisal group and the expression suppression group, and the degree of sympathy of the cognitive reappraisal group is significantly higher than that of the expression suppression group. Therefore, the study can draw the following conclusions:Conclusion 1: The individual's use of emotion regulation strategies will have an impact on the judgment of unethical behavior. Conclusion 2: Both the cognitive reappraisal and the expression suppression can reduce the standard of judging immoral behavior. Conclusion 3: In the case of high similarity of moral situation, when individuals use cognitive reappraisal to judge unethical behavior, their judgment standard will be lower than that of individuals using expression suppression.
