In junior middle school,the main purpose of English learning is the initial development of English application ability,which is embodied in listening,speaking,reading and writing.In these aspects,the ability to write is the focus of teaching,and it is difficult.In some entrance examinations,writing occupies a certain score,which greatly influences the total score.Many students who have a good grasp of vocabulary and grammar can’t write good articles yet.Writing has become a major problem in junior middle school English teaching.In order to improve students’ English writing ability,English educators have tried many ways and methods,among which the lexical chunk teaching method has been widely recognized.Lexical chunks have some main features in grammar,semantics and context.Of course,on this basis,lexical chunks also have their own unique structure and significance.In practical application and teaching,lexical chunks can effectively help learners and users to grasp the language accurately and fluently.In this study,the lexical chunk teaching method is applied to the teaching practice of English writing in a junior middle school.Through the comparative study of the results of the pre-test and post-test and the questionnaire survey,supported by the relevant data and interview results,it is concluded that,in junior middle school,the lexical chunk teaching method is helpful to improve the students’ writing level;and the methods and models are acceptable in English writing teaching..Based on the practical problems of writing teaching and learning of junior high school English students,this study makes an empirical study on the practical effects and Strategies of lexical chunk teaching method from the point of improving students’ writing ability effectively.The whole study consists of six parts:In the first part,the writer mainly elaborates the background of the study,the purpose and significance of the study.The second part is the literature review,in which,the author,by research and analysis,studies the relevant research results.In the third part,the theoretical basis of this study is collated and analyzed to give the theoretical support to the whole study.The fourth part is the research design,in which the select of a specific school and class as experimental objects,the specific questionnaires and comparative experimental research are talked about.The fifth part is about the analysis of the results of the study.In this part,the relevant research results are discussed and explored based on the design and implementation of survey,comparative experiments and interviews.The last part is the conclusion,which summarizes and collates the conclusions of this study,and explains the shortcomings and future research directions. |
