| With an example of the translation of “Effectiveness of IT Service Management Capability: Value Co-Creation and Value Facilitation Mechanisms”(extract),this thesis selects the text analysis theory put forward by Christiane Nord as the theoretical framework.The thesis first analyzes the extratextual and intratextual factors of the source text,and then carries out equifuctional translation under the guidance of the instrumental translation strategy proposed by Nord.In order to achieve accurate translation at the lexical level,this thesis focuses on the translation of general academic words,the translation of abbreviations and combination words,and the phenomenon of different translations of the same words.Meanwhile,in order to achieve the clear translation at the sentence level,this thesis emphasizes the adjustment of word order,the translation of passive sentences and the translation of long and difficult sentences.Based on the theoretical guidance,this translation practice aims to achieve the appropriate and smooth translation so as to convey the original information to the readers more accurately.Through practice,it is proved that Nord’s translation-oriented text analysis has significance for the translation practice of science and technology texts. |
