| The Japanese literary book market has been very popular in recent years,but the book market is dominated by the works of male authors,and it is rare to see Japanese women authors’ works reaching bestseller status.The Akutagawa Ryunosuke Prize is the highest prize in Japanese literature,and the works of its award-winning women writers are also being imported into China in large numbers.However,the response to such books in the market has been mediocre.So,is there any value and significance to the introduction of the work of the Japanese female akutagawa prize winners? The reader,as the ultimate object of book circulation,may be able to tell us the answer.This paper will study all the works of female authors who have won the Akutagawa Prize during the Heisei period(1989-2019),and readers who have read the works of female authors who have won the Akutagawa Prize will be the main research subjects of the paper,and the book selection will be all the works introduced in mainland China from 2000-2019.The value and significance of introducing the works of thefemale akutagawa prize winners will be explored by learning how well these books are received by readers in Japan through their comments and feedback.In addition to the introduction,the thesis is divided into seven parts.The first two parts focus on the introduction and publication of the works of thefemale akutagawa prize winners in Japan,as well as the selection of titles and content of all books.The third,fourth,and fifth parts are the focus of the dissertation research,which mainly explores the acceptance and satisfaction of the introduction of edition books by the Akutagawa Award-winning female authors from the perspective of their reader audience.The third part of it is an overview of online book reviews,which mainly integrates reader feedback from Internet platforms,and through the survey it was found that youth literature and female themes are at the heart of readers’ concerns.The fourth part is a readership questionnaire designed based on online reader feedback,and a cross-sectional analysis of variables found that the works of female Akutagawa Award-winning writers were more recognized by female readers even though there was no reading gender preference,and translation was a key factor in the decline of the reading experience.The fifth part is a reader interview as a way to listen further to the reader’s voice,to discover through the interview that domestic readers appreciate theliterary nature of the works of thefemale akutagawa prize winners,and to look forward to the future development of the introduction.The sixth part summarizes the reader’s feedback,analyzes and summarizes the publication difficulties of the works of thefemale akutagawa prize winners introduced in China at present,the category of the works,the content of the selected topics and the translation are important reasons that restrict the domestic readers’ reading choices and understanding.In the end,measures will be proposed to address the problems that currently exist.The final part of the paper is a further reflection on the introduction offemale akutagawa prize winners in mainland China,focusing on the value of the introduction offemale akutagawa prize winners’ works,and time will give the answer in the future. |
