Research On The Early Landscape Paintings Of Badashanren

In this paper,regarding the early landscape paintings of Badashanren as the research object,the creative origin,artistic features,as well as emotional sustenance were systematically sorted out and profoundly analyzed by the methods of history,philology,cultural sociology,together with image analysis,etc.In the first part,by comparing and researching ever-existing landscape products of Badashanren,the creation phase of who could be roughly divided into three periods,i.e.connecting the past with the future,high maturity,as well as sublimation of artistic conception.In the second part,by comparing with four kings and adherent painter,and combing from three aspects of pen and ink style,constitution layout,and image analysis,we gained an insight into the artistic features of early landscape paintings of Badashanren.We believed that the early landscape paintings of Badashanren are distinguished by brief and rigid ink,sparse and elegant layout,cold and precipitous fantasy,as well as distinctive personality and unconventional peculiarity.In the third part,the causes of early landscape painting creation of Badashanren were deeply discussed based on the investigations of his historical background,art inheritance,art accumulation,along with Zen influence.Moreover,we thought that social environment and spirit knot not only cultivate the tragedy personality of Badashanren,but also achieve his unyielding,indulgent,as well as thick and mellow ink style.Meantime,innate artistic talent and family edification lay the profound foundation for his later artistic achievements.He joined hands with many teachers,gaining knowledge from them,thus form his unique artistic style of early landscape paintings by combining what he has learned with his own profound calligraphy skills and the basis of flower and bird paintings.Finally,starting from the artistic creation spirit of Badashanren,who opposes the conformism and advocates wild,this paper vertically analyzed his influence on the creation of modern painters,and summarized the value and significance of his landscape paintings to the later painting creation.Although the early landscape paintings created by Badashanren are weak in strength and style,these attempts and preparations had laid a solid foundation for the sublimation of his artistic realm in the mature period,and simultaneously broadened his creative space,therebybecoming an indispensable part of whole bada arts.
