With the progress of Internet technology and the development of modern science and technology,people's way of communication is constantly changing.Multimodal communication has more and more influence on people's lives.Since the mid-1970 s,discourse analysis has gradually shifted from a single speech mode to other non-verbal modes.The Heroes Club of Han Religion is a comprehensive competition sponsored by Confucius Institute headquarters / National Hanban and co-sponsored by Beijing language and Culture University and China Education Television.The competition is rich in modal resources such as language,video,images and gestures,which belongs to multimodal dynamic discourse,so it can be analyzed and studied from the perspective of multimodal discourse analysis.In this study,the video of the "Chinese Heroes Club" competition is used as the research corpus for tagging and transcribing.ELAN multimodal annotation software is used to label the competition video and the usage statistics of modal resources,and the multimodal resource invocation feature analysis is carried out for each stage of the competition.The theoretical analysis framework of multimodal interaction is used to analyze the relationship between the modes in the competition,how the modes interact to complete the communication,and the influence of multimodal resources on the communicative effect.The most abundant use of modal resources in the competition is "a wonderful lesson".By analyzing the influence of teachers' modal density and structural configuration on communicative interaction in the process of teaching,it is proved that modal density and structural configuration are of great importance in teaching.It is found that the modal relationships are also different in different competition stages,and there are mainly two kinds of relationships,that is,speech modes play a leading role in the dominant position,and other non-verbal modes play an auxiliary role in speech modes and the synergistic effect between modes.Modal density and modal strength affect students' attention and teachers' teaching effect,that is,in different stages of teaching,only a single high-intensity mode can play a positive role in teaching.Multimodal resources can fully stimulate learners' interest and improve their enthusiasm in the process of learning Chinese.The combination and specific use of multimodal resources and the change of modal resource allocation in teaching need to attract the attention of teachers.This study not only expands the scope of application of multimodal discourse analysis,but also verifies the feasibility of using multimodal discourse analysis to analyze dynamic discourse,which lays a foundation for further multimodal research in the future.it provides some ideas for researchers who pay attention to multimodal dynamic discourse,and provides some inspiration for the training of master's degree in Chinese international education and teaching Chinese as a foreign language.Make teachers of Chinese as a foreign language deepen their understanding and cognition of the relationship between modes,and promote the application of multimodal resources in teaching Chinese as a foreign language.
