| The thought of relationship between self and other is an important part of Sartre’s philosophy. The study of relationship between self and other is not only of great significance to the study of Sartre’s philosophy itself, but also an important supplement to the theory of human and interpersonal relationship in the history of philosophy.Different from the traditional concept,Sartre believes that the study of relationship between self and other should not be from the perspective of epistemology, and the relationship between "I" and others should not be a cognitive relationship, but an existential relationship. Before Sartre,Kant,Hegel,Husserl and others have been trying to find a reliable way to connect "me" with others. In Sartre’s view, the investigation of the relationship between other and me should start from "cogito" and realize the reliability of the connection between others and "I" with the reliability of "cogito".In this way,the essence of the relationship between self and other should be: in "cogito",I,like others,is the existence of the subject. With the existence requirements of mutual objectification and being objectified,I’m alienated from "being for oneself" to "being for him",thus forming such an existence relationship of mutual planning of my own existence.Sartre’s investigation of the relationship between self and other originates from the analysis of its premise, that is,the establishment of the presence relationship between other and self, which can be divided into two levels: basic presence and original presence. The establishment of the presence relationship directly determines that other people and "I" can have a unified mechanism of action.Only in this way, other people and "I" can develop their relationship in the same dimension.Secondly, the interaction between other and self also needs a subject. In Sartre’s view, this subject is not a simple consciousness or body, but the "Artificiality" of "me" and others,or the freedom of others and "me".The freedom of others and the freedom of me represent the essence of the relationship between other and me in the form of assimilation and possession of freedom. At last,Sartre realizes the perfect combination of others and self in the structure of his existence, which makes the relationship between others and self interaction and interdependence become unbreakable.Sartre’s relationship between other and self is a kind of responsibility relationship based on the principle of"responsibility".The relationship between other and me that he established is just a kind of responsibility relationship that others and"I"depend on each other and take responsibility for each other. It shows the moral care that the relationship between other and self should have in practice, which can be used for reference in shapes the mutual development, harmonious interpersonal relationship between others and self, and the construction of a harmonious society. |
