The Study Of Salafism In Lebanon

Salafism regards returning to the way of prophet,retrospecting the life style of the first three generations of Muslims as its religious ideal,strictly abiding by the Koran and the sermon,insisting on "Tawhid" and opposing the innovation of Islamic doctrines,which constitute the core idea of Salafism.The basic links of the modern Salafism movement are carrying out Salafism propaganda,participating in political activities and launching jihad.The development of Salafism in Lebanon has an obvious dual tendency.It is not only a tool for Salafism to transmit to the outside world,but also one of the main factors to intensify the religious contradictions in Lebanon.The spread of modern Salafism in Lebanon has a profound impact on the political development of Lebanon.The rise of jihadi Salafism has deepened tensions between regions.At the same time,with the in-depth development of Salafism propaganda in Lebanon,a transnational Salafism network based on Lebanon has gradually formed.This paper studies Salafism in Lebanon and its influence from three parts.The first part is the introduction,which mainly expounds the basis of topic selection,the related research status at home and abroad,theoretical and practical significance,research methods and innovations.The second part is the main body,which consists of three chapters.The first chapter mainly discusses the background of Salafism in Lebanon.Salafism in Lebanon is one of the important components of Islamic revivalism,which is the concrete manifestation of Islamic Revivalism in Lebanon and closely related to the political and religious environment in Lebanon.The second chapter mainly introduces the development of Salafism in Lebanon,which can be divided into quiet Salafism,radical Salafism and jihad Salafism.In 1946,Salem Shahar launched Salafi movement in Lebanon,which promoted the process of Islamic revival movement in Lebanon,and Salafism gradually stepped onto the political stage of Lebanon.The third chapter mainly expounds the influence of Salafism in Lebanon.Salafism in Lebanon is actually a specific manifestation of Islamic Revivalism in Lebanon,but it is different from Islamic Revivalism in a broad sense.On the one hand,Salafism in Lebanon inherits the connotation of classical Salafism and Islamic revivalism,on the other hand,it makescorresponding adjustment in combination with Lebanon’s own history and social environment,which is an important link in Lebanon’s modernization process.At home,Salafism in Lebanon has strengthened the political power of Sunni groups,especially the influence of jihadi Salafism.Abroad,Salafism in Lebanon has been successfully exported to Europe and become an important part of global Salafism.The confluence between Salafism in Jihad and global Salafism has become an important factor threatening international security and deeply affecting the local security in the Middle East.The third part is the conclusion part,which summarizes the cause,development process and influence of Salafism in Lebanon,and points out that Salafism in Lebanon is a political and religious force that can not be ignored,and poses a threat to regional and international security,which must be paid attention to.
