As an outstanding contemporary artist and art educator,Jin Zhilin has been long engaged in the exploration and research of Chinese folk art and combined art teaching with it,thus a scientific and systematic thought on art education is formed and applied,which has had a profound impact in the development process of Chinese art education Based on Chinese primitive culture and primitive philosophy and characterized by expression forms of folk art,Jin Zhilin's thoughts on art education achieve an overall artistic inheritance with regard to research and exploration of folk art through his analysis of the deep connotation of national culture in many disciplines,such as fine arts,archaeology,folk custom and primitive philosophy,etc.promoting the inheritance and development of traditional Chinese culture and Chinese folk art by the art education sector and playing an important role in carrying forward spirits of the Chinese nation However,most of the current art researches on the theme of Jin Zhilin made by the education sector focus on his oil paintings and primitive culture,while the systematic research on Jin Zhilin's thoughts on folk art education are relatively few.Therefore this paper analyzes the role and influence of Jin Zhilin's thoughts on folk art education on inheritance of Chinese folk art and development of art education,by sorting out and summarizing Jin Zhilin's biographical experience,creation practices,publications&discourses and other contentsThis paper consists of four parts:the first part,by sorting out Jin Zhilin's biographical experience,introduces the background where Jin Zhilin's thoughts on art education is formed,summarizes the formation and development process of Jin Zhilin's thoughts on art education in Yan'an,elaborates his folk art teaching practice and contents in Yan'an and indicates the inherent connection between folk art in Northern Shaanxi and formation and development of primitive culture.The second part analyzes and summarizes the views of Jin Zhilin's thoughts on art education,laying a foundation for formation of primitive thoughts and value orientation of folk art inherent connection and providing related contents for structure of the history of contemporary Chinese art education.The third part firstly points out the influence of folk character of Chinese folk art on Jin Zhilin's art education and summarizes his research and reflection on folk art education;secondly properly processes the internal logic between philosophy and art system of Chinese folk art on the one hand and Jin Zhilin's art education and primitive philosophy on the other hand;then defines the related characteristics on Jin Zhilin's folk art education,and finally elaborates the influence of thoughts on folk art education on Chinese art education through the summary of development and status of Chinese art education.The fourth part sets forth the practical significance of Jin Zhilin's thoughts on folk art education,pumping up the promotion of folk art education revolution and development.After discussion of Jin Zhilin's thoughts on folk art education,the countermeasures to further promote the development of folk art education are formed and put forward.
