| The discussion of markedness,from the markedness of language to the markedness of culture,has become the focus in the field of cultural communication and semiotics.Dance is an ancient and modern form of cultural communication and its artistic form emerges and develops in the process of its communication.Each dancing cultural symbol plays an important role in the communication of human culture and the recording of history and each reform of the cultural symbol reflects the complex relationship with markedness.Different ways of communication will produce different binary opposition.In the process of diachronic vertical communication,each adapted "original image"including action symbols and artistic image symbols will become the marked item in the previous culture;in synchronic horizontal communication,each foreign new dancing form is the marked item of the foreign culture.Markedness has become a prominent and universal feature in the communication of dancing cultural symbol.As a branch of art dance,modern dance,with its untyped and creative feature,has incomparable expressive force in the production and transformation of markedness.In the process of its communication and development,modern dance not only shows the uniqueness of artistic dance markedness,but also reflects the diversity of cultural symbol markedness.For exploration of modern dance’s communication characteristics,the study can start from the remarkedness features reflected in its communication process throughout the world and modern dance communication in Taiwan,for its unique background of history,culture,politics and economy,becomes a typical sample.Based on the discussion of modern dancers,dancing groups and theirs dancing works and combined with the relevant theories in semiotics.communication,dancology and markedness of cultural symbols,this paper,from aspects of markedness generation,markedness flip and markedness middle term,will explore the makedness features,the makredness turn,the reasons as well as the influence of modern dance in Taiwan during different periods including the premodern dance communication period(1932-1987),postmodern dance communication period(1988-2019)and future modern dance communication period(after 2020).This study infers that the markedness of future dance will be flipped and brings about the crisis of hyperaesthetic.Divided into five parts,the first part makes a brief overview of the research background,research significance,research status,objects,definitions of core concepts,research ideas and research methods.The second part sorts out the markedness communication process of modern dance in Taiwan from its introduction and exploration to localization and innovation development.The third and fourth part analyze the markedness generation,markedness flip and markedness turn in Taiwan and summarize the characteristics,cause and significance in periods of the premodern dance communication period,postmodern dance communication period and future modern dance communication period.The fifth part concludes that markedness of future modern dance in Taiwan will be flipped and analysis of the flipped markedness as well as its resason and influence will be presented. |
