Hu Shu's Study And Practice Of Seal Script

Since the Qin Dynasty unified the six countries,a series of political systems have been put forward to maintain the autocratic centralization of power,among which there are "the same writing" and Xiaozhuan is regarded as the official standard writing.Xiaozhuan has started the road of self-development.After more than two thousand years,it has not become a prominent learning,and has been used as a vassal of the cursive and regular script.Until the Qing Dynasty,the seal script ushered in a situation that has not been seen in a thousand years Among them,there are many masters and talents,such as Deng Shilu,Wu Gengzhi,Zhao Zhiqian,etc.Hu Shu,though not as famous as three people in later generations,was also a great hero at that time,and Zhao Zhiqian highly praised him.Starting from the background of Hu Shu's time,this paper expounds the causes of the rise of seal script from three angles of politics,Academy and the rise of tieshubei,and lists Hu Shu's representative works.Starting with Hu Shu's representative works,this paper analyzes and interprets Hu Shu's artistic characteristics from the perspective of writing,ink,knot,constitution and four elements Hu Shu's experience after seal writing is that first,he creatively integrated the technique of iron line seal into it,constantly corrected the problems in it,and made many attempts and creations;second,he used the technique of jade seal for reference to integrate into it for reconciliation.Through this series of exploration,we will integrate different strokes into it,to deeply think about the dialectical relationship among the four dimensions of stroke,knot,ink and composition in seal script,so as to provide more profound theoretical guidance for our future calligraphy learning.
